One hour South of Midland will find you in a small town which is home of the Rankin Red Devils, home of a young up and coming athlete; Kael Robinson. I have actually seen this young man in action many times at basketball and football games, its amazing I was able to catch up with him to get this interview as he is always running full force and at top speed. What impresses me most about this young athlete is that even after sustaining a knee injury this young man kept going and continues to give it his all.
JJSS: What Sport or sports do you play?
Kael: I play football, basketball and run track.
JJSS: What did you like most about this past year's team?
Kael: Everyone on the team gave it their all, and we had great team spirit.
JJSS: What did you like least?
Kael: Honestly,nothing at all.
JJSS: How would you evaluate this year's senior leadership?
Kael: I think that they did a good job at showing leadership to the team and are good role models to the younger kids.
JJSS: What will be the attitudes of next year's seniors?
Kael: It will be positive without a doubt; they are pushing everyone to do go beyond their limits and are lead by example.
JJSS: Did your team achieve their athletic goals for the year?
Kael: Yes we did.
JJSS: How did the coaches help the team the most?
Kael: They worked with us and motivated us all the way, they pushed us to be better players on the field.
JJSS: What are your personal goals for next year?
Kael: To be the absolute best I can be.
JJSS: What are your personal goals for your future in this sport?
Kael: To be the best that I can and to gain endurance and strength.
JJSS: Do you think the team followed the athletic code this season?
Kael: Yes they did.
JJSS: Who on the team had a positive impact on our season and why?
Kael: Logan Templeton,; we both had knee injuries and he was the one who told me to never give up. He also reminded me that when this happened it was my freshman year and not my senior year so I could still train and play.
JJSS: What specific things in the off-season do you think could help you improve as an athlete?
Kael: Running, lifting weights and endurance training that we do is what helps condition us for the next season.
JJSS: Kael, Jingo Jango Sports Show wishes you all the best this coming season, and I want to thank you personally for taking the time to interview with me. We can't wait to see what the future holds for you this year in sports!
